Camper Van Rerecordings

Last week (go down four entries, lazybones), we used this space to thank Camper Van Beethoven for giving us their "Kingston Advice." But now let's go off-topic for a moment to praise one of them for something else. CvB's David Lowery is also the top dog of Cracker, and according to a report from The Courant's Eric R. Danton, that band found a unique way to subvert a label's apparent attempt to repackage their work without band input. You know which version you want to support with your wallet, right?

Since I can't post anything here without plugging our own project, I should note that the fellow who sent me the Danton URL is preparing a gangbusters version of "The Equaliser" for us. More to come...
